"...We take all crimes seriously. Unfortunately crime happens often and the victims
don’t take the time or don’t care to report it to us. If we don’t know what is going
on in our city then we don’t know where we should be checking for criminal activity.
As you know from my monthly reports, I keep track of [all] crimes.  Even if a crime
happens to someone who some neighbors do not personally know, it’s still a crime
in your neighborhood and everyone should be concerned
."
